Chiron is a cometary body with a unique and erratic orbit mainly between Saturn and Uranus. It was discovered in 1977 and has been deemed the Planet of Healing.
We experience our “Chiron Return” between the ages of 48-51. Chiron returns to the same point in the sky that it occupied at the moment of our birth. Chiron has completed a whole circuit of the sky, and signifies that a new cycle is beginning. This is our opportunity to leverage our deepest wounds as homing beacons towards greater wholeness, consciousness, Truth and Love. In our natal charts Chiron points to where we have healing powers as the result of our own deep spiritual wounds.

Our Chiron Return can be notoriously difficult, but when we are in “right relationship” with Chiron, health and disease, dysfunction and disorder, are our teachers. Chiron says that there is nothing to fix, correct, cure or get rid of. Chiron says that the Wound contains a Gift and that the Healing journey is the process of discovering that Gift. The Wound is Healed when the Gift is embraced.
